Creekside Farm Wedding / Courtney + Brian
Courtney and Brian met for the first time at a dating event. Neither of them was jazzed about going, but friends and family talked them into showing up. The night was themed around Cards Against Humanity, and when they both picked New Zealand as an answer, of course they started talking. They set a date to hang out at the Como Zoo where they walked the sunken gardens, pressed a penny, and rode the carousel. Three and a half years later, they were married at Creekside Farm Weddings & Events surrounded by friends and family.
They decided not to see one another before the ceremony, so they each dressed on separate floors of their venue. Once Brian and his crew were ready to go, they walked down the path to the woods to hang out until the ceremony.
Once Courtney was dressed and ready, she met her father so he could walk her down the aisle. They shared an emotional moment filled with tears when they saw each other for the first time, check out the photos below. It was beautiful.
Their ceremony was filled with readings from friends and family members as well as blessings. Courtney and Brian read their own vows and declared the blending of their last names to start their new lives.
As their guests enjoyed lawn games and cocktails, the reception was set for dinner. Their wedding party marched in before Courtney and Brian made their entrance and shared a kiss at the head table.
Courtney’s father brought tears and laughter in his toast when he busted out Courtney’s My Little Ponies and stories of how they used to play.
The two shared their first married dance before the dance floor flooded with guests. The party went long into the night, but before my time with them ended, we snuck outside to cool off and take a few photos by the moonlight.
Courtney and Brian- you both are so thoughtful of each other, it shows with how meaningful every piece of your wedding day was. I adore the two of you so, and am so happy to call myself your lifelong photographer. You think you are getting stuck to me? It’s the opposite, my friends. Can’t wait until we meet again! Sending you both so much love!
