Jenna Redfield of Twin Cities Collective Brand Photography Session

If you are a local Minneapolis solopreneur, you have heard of the Twin Cities Collective. Jenna Redfield created this collective in 2016 to help local bloggers and creatives connect in the Minneapolis area. ⁠⠀TCC (for short) hosts networking events, workshops, and a podcast that are all incredible resources for the local community.

Jenna reached out to me for a brand photography session so she could update her website, use new images for her social media, and create promotions for upcoming workshops and events.

Jenna has a studio/office/podcasting room in Minnetonka. She wanted her brand photo session to happen here because it’s where she loves to work. She also has impeccable taste, so it was no surprise to see her space was styled to perfection.⁠⠀

We started with some basics of her working at her desk and using her phone to promote her social media strategist services. She also dabbles in videography (she went to school for filmmaking and does killer brand videos) as well as photography, so she pulled out her camera for a few images.

Jenna also grabbed her podcasting microphone for some images to promote the Twin Cities Collective Podcast. I highly recommend checking it out. She interviews local experts and gives great advice on all things business.

The last images we took were in front of a big, white backdrop I brought. White space is essential for solopreneurs who like to create graphics to promote their services.

Jenna loves using apps like Canva, Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator to add text about her promotions, her logo, and other pieces of design to make her images on social media stand out. Images like this are also great for creating ads for Instagram and Facebook.
