Rubies and Rust Wedding / Corinne + Vinnie

Corinne and Vinnie met many years ago at the downtown Minneapolis Corepower Yoga. They frequented the same hot yoga classes and started hanging out with the local yoga community. Their friendship developed into something much greater, and this past year, they said they made it official at Rubies and Rust with their wedding day.

Rubies and Rust is an adorable farm with a touch of kitsch in Belle Plaine, Minnesota. They wanted their wedding day to feel relaxed and welcoming, especially since many of Vinnie’s family members were traveling from far away.

Before the ceremony, Corinne and Vinnie took a walk around the property to soak in the vibe of their wedding day. It was warm; the sun was shining. It was early June, so the grass was finally green and it smelled like summer.

Carloads of their families and friends arrived for the ceremony. Their guests grabbed cold beverages before taking their seats.

For many of Vinnie’s family members, this was their first Minnesotan wedding! The rolling hills made for a serene backdrop as Corinne and Vinnie shared their vows. Their ceremony was both in English and Spanish so all could listen to their sweet words to each other.

After their first kiss, Corinne and Vinnie danced down the aisle and straight into the field where they were able to take a moment alone as a married couple.

They met their guests in the barn for a blended social hour and reception. Friends and family mingled on the second floor. There were long picnic tables with no assigned seating so everyone could get to know one another.

A friend kicked off dinner with a sweet toast, and that’s where my time with this amazing couple ended. I heard from mutual friends that things heated up on the dance floor and they had a blast partying into the night.

Corinne and Vinnie- you both are beyond incredible. It’s magnificent to see two yogis bring everyone together, and your wedding was wrapped in nothing but love and kindness. Thank you for letting me share in your day. It was so, so fun!
