Minneapolis Head Shots / Alana, Nate, and Maria
Since I now offer brand photography, I often get inquiries about simple head shots. A lot of business professionals need to update their head shot for their company bio, Linkedin page, or to mix in with their social media. Most of the people that reach out to me want their Minneapolis head shots to look more natural, less traditional, and fun!
Alana wanted her head shot to come across as professional, but also friendly. She chose a bright blue to make her eyes pop, and we took a variety of photos with and without her glasses so she had options.
Nate and I met at a wedding while he did soundboard work for a band. He wanted a few nice portraits that he could use not only as head shots, but gift to his family for the holiday season. He has long, curly hair that we kept down for a few images but then pulled back so he could also show his professional side.
Finally, Maria came to my studio for something in between a head shot and branding session. She’s a local realtor who is new to the Minneapolis area. She was working with a social media and brand manager, and needed photos of her face she could use on her Instagram, Facebook, and website.
She brought props like her notebook and phone so she could appear more candid. We also used the studio furniture to stage a scene where she could add plants and finishing touches, which is also something she likes to do when she sells homes.
If you are in need of an updated head shot, the photos above are taken at my studio North East Minneapolis. My Minneapolis headshot sessions are easy, natural, and will make you look more professional.
