Bauhaus Brew Engagement Session / Bri and Luke
Bri and Luke met on Tinder. Luke proposed to Bri last August after he had only had the ring for six hours. Bri came home from work, and Luke wanted to “show her his new guitar.” Bri of course obliged, but was shocked when she turned around to see Luke on one knee, holding an amethyst wedding ring. They both love a good craft beer, so they chose to have brews at Bauhaus Brewery for their Engagement Session.
Bauhaus Brew Lab was full of holiday cheer the night of Bri and Luke’s engagement session. A group of people in a holiday sweater pub crawl filled most of the tables, but Bri and Luke were able to snag a spot in the back as well as some liquid courage for their session.
We hung out inside the brewery for a few photos, then headed out to the snow-covered patio. It was warmer than usual, so Bri and Luke ditched their coats. They snuggled up to one another to stay warm now and again, which made for some magical pictures.
Bri and Luke are both from small towns but love venturing into the cities. As we walked and talked, they told me about their home and the amazing improvements they are doing to it. Luke is very handy and is building them a bar for the basement. They love hosting friends, and Luke is also part of a band that will be playing a few tunes on their wedding day.
Their wedding day is already happening next weekend! The ceremony will be at Bri’s parents home, with a reception to follow at a nearby barn. There will be great craft brews, but no snow on the ground for their photos.
Do you love craft beer too? I love weaving in places my couples love into their engagement photos. Here’s a session that also starts at a brewery.
