Ritter Farm Park Engagement Session / Jane + Tyler
Jane and Tyler met their senior year of college in Duluth. They both were in the business school program and crossed paths frequently enough to get to know each other and eventually start dating. After graduating, they both moved back to the Minneapolis area and were engaged just before their three year anniversary. Jane and Tyler love exploring the outdoors with their adorable pup, Curry, which is why they chose one of their favorite places to hike, Ritter Farm Park for their fall engagement session.
Curry is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met! So well behaved, so relaxed and easy going. Curry didn’t stray far from Jane and Tyler as we weaved in and out through the tall prairie grasses and trails of Ritter Farm Park, popping in and out of photos at his leisure. Jane and Tyler said most days were like that, walking with Curry by their side, so it made perfect sense to let him come in and out of the photos as he pleased.
The sun was just about to set when we walked up the big hill that over looked the prairie. The brown grasses took on hues of pinks and red as the sun got lower and lower in the sky. We were lucky to have a dreamy sunset on this perfect October night.
I hadn’t been to Ritter Farm Park in years, so thank you Jane and Tyler for the sunset hike with great company! Can’t wait to hang out with you both again on your wedding day in a few months!
Love fall engagement sessions? Me too! I especially love it when my clients bring their furry companions. Here’s a few more with pups if you haven’t had enough!
