Target Field Engagement Session / Stephanie + Tony
Stephanie and Tony’s love story starts way back in 2001. Tony’s bright blue eyes caught Stephanie’s attention in their high school hallways. They connected, casually dated, but went their separate ways.
Fourteen years later, they crossed paths again at a gas station. They found out that they lived across the street from each other, and they rekindled their friendship, which eventually turned into romance. Stephanie and Tony are huge Twins fans, so we went on a tour of the Target Field for their engagement session.
We felt a little like celebrities as we arrived in the players’ special parking lot. We were escorted into the stadium and told we could go wherever we pleased. Stephanie and Tony wanted to start at their seats, and from there, we made our way around to the many different levels of the stadium.
Besides baseball, Stephanie and Tony love nature (my kind of people). They are avid hikers and were engaged on top of a mesa at Bryce Canyon Park in Utah on an epic road trip.
They wanted a bit of nature to be a part of their engagement session, so after the Twins stadium, we headed to Boom Island Park for some more casual photos just as the sun was setting.
Since they love all that nature has to offer, they will be married on the North Shore this weekend with a small wedding of close family and friends.
I couldn’t be happier for this amazing, adventurous couple and more excited to photograph their ceremony on the shoreline of Lake Superior.
Do you envision your engagement session or wedding day taking place in nature? I love to adventure into nature and travel for all types of photography. Check out this beautiful wedding day that took place on the North Shore at BlueFin Bay in 2019.
