Minneapolis Lifestyle Photography for The Artisan Row
The Artisan Row has all the services you need to create and design food products. Their team includes product development chefs, bakers, nutritionists, scientists, packaging experts, and researchers that have been in the food strategy and creation business for decades. Jeni, the head of The Artisan Row, reached out to Witt and Company to help her design her new brand and website. I was looped in to provide Minneapolis lifestyle photography for their website that tells the story of who they are and how they work together.
We started their lifestyle photography session at The Riveter in Edina, Minnesota. Jeni had several of her team members meet her there to show the research and development side of the business.
Before any product can come to life, her team sits down and maps out not only the timeline, but the pipeline of how it will come together. They had a brief meeting about a current project where everyone contributed their thoughts and ideas.
Since The Artisan Row’s brand has tones of browns, blues, and greens, we looked for a kitchen space for the second half of their lifestyle session that had the same color scheme. Studio 125 in downtown Minneapolis not only had the colors, but the modern, boho feel of their brand.
Jeni wanted to feature each team member not only in a simple head shot, but in their role. Chef Kevin cooked up some products for the tasting, Pam rolled out crust and put together some cookie dough, while the other team members sat down together and talked nutrition, package design, and research.
Although they don’t all share a physical space all the time, they work together closely on each project that comes through The Artisan Row’s door, and the photos needed to show that.
Their lifestyle session ended with a salsa tasting around the kitchen. Their team comes together to try versions of their products and give feedback on how to improve it before it hits the shelves.
The Artisan Row’s website launched in 2019. Since the initial shoot, we have worked together again on a photo and video project for one of their clients. Jeni is an incredible human, and I cannot recommend her enough if you are looking to create a food product or improve your current ones.
