Small Business Branding Photography / A Kopp Music
Alicia and Andrew of A Kopp Music needed a small business branding photography session to update their website. After years of teaching and performing, they took over a music store in the legacy of a great friend and mentor.
Their mission is to allow students of all ages to feel comfortable learning and growing a lifelong connection with music. As passionate as they are, A Kopp Music also loves to have fun! They do this by collaborating with their students so they leave their lessons engaged and excited.
This connection is at the heart of their brand, so they had me come in with my camera to capture some real lessons between the students and teachers.
Sitting in on these sessions was a true joy. The instructors were not only patient but made every kid feel extremely special as they walked out the door. The attitude and vibe of every lesson was something I had wished for when I was young.
A Kopp Music also uses different tools, especially when it comes to their youngest students. Alicia whipped out the “C Bunny” to teach a young piano student the keys. They also have homemade “honey bear” practice timers that make setting time aside for practice easy and sparkly. I really want one for my home office!
The other important piece to their small business branding session was to capture the instructors. Since their brand is fun, silly, and exciting, we got a little weird and infused their photos with emotion. Alicia said she wanted a little kid to giggle and a teen to roll their eyes when they walk past these instructor photos. I think we nailed it!
A Kopp Music has the perfect environment for fun music lessons in the twin cities! Check out their new website!
