River Oaks Golf Course Wedding / Danielle + Jon
Danielle and Jon met on Bumble. Jon’s profile was silly and sweet, and he dared anyone who wanted an adventure to reach out. That sounded pretty great to Danielle, so she messaged him, and now these two are happily married. Their closest friends and family gathered this September for their River Oaks Golf Course wedding.
For September, it was unusually warm. Danielle and her ladies kept cool in her hotel room down the road, while Jon put on his suit and jacket at Rover Oaks Golf Course. Danielle kept calm and relaxed while her mom and friends helped her with the final touches of her dress and shoes. Once she was ready, she climbed into a car to meet Jon at River Oaks.
When he heard Danielle was on the way, Jon’s eyes lit up. He walked outside into the shade of the gazeboo and eagerly awaited his beautiful bride. Jon’s smile grew a few inches when he laid on her for the first time, no one could blame him, she looked stunning. The two spent some alone time together walking around the course and soon after, their wedding party and family joined them.
The River Oaks Golf Course staff went out of their way to provide everyone with ice cold water and cart guests to and from the reception area to the ceremony space. Once everyone was seated, Jon walked down the aisle with his mom and dad. The wedding party came next, then finally Danielle and her father.
Steve Valentine from Affordable I Do’s officiated the ceremony. He shared stories about how the couple met but also why they were meant to be. After exchanging vows, Danielle and Jon shared their first married kiss then went back into the reception site to cool off and celebrate.
The vibe of their reception was fun and relaxed. Jon and Danielle were able to mingle with their guest and enjoy dinner and toasts from their friends and family. Each table had it’s own personal cake, so guests could enjoy dessert whenever.
As dessert came to a close, we hopped in a golf cart and were escorted out onto the course for some stellar views of the sunset. The light was orange and vibrant, and the temperature was now perfect.
After a few moments outside, Jon and Danielle opened up the dance floor with their first dance. About half way through, Jon’s grandpa appeared and cut right in. Jon was pushed to the side as grandpa stole the show, but after a minute, he was gracious enough to let them finish their first dance.
Danielle and Jon – your wedding day was so light and fun! You two are so silly, energizing, and easy going, it made the process so enjoyable. Your love for each other shows through in all your photos, and I can’t thank you enough for finding me! I’m super excited to see what you do with your print credit! Have a great rest of your 2018!
