Plymouth Creek Event Center Wedding / Erin + Riley
Erin and Riley met because they were in the right place at the right time. After a single conversation, they felt like they had known each other for years. They knew there was something to this connection, so they kept the conversation going. Erin loves to sing, Riley loves to hunt, and they love hanging out at the lakes during the summer time. They combined their passions perfectly for their May wedding starting with a ceremony at Holy name of Jesus Catholic Church where Erin and her family sing, then a reception at Plymouth Creek Center for their lush outdoor scenery and trails.
Erin and Riley chose to not see each other before the ceremony, so everyone gathered in separate rooms at the church. Everyone was relaxed, took their time getting ready, and hung out with close friends and family until it was time to line up. Riley made his way down the aisle twice- first with his parents then with the priest. Riley waited patiently as the wedding party walked down, anxiously awaiting his beautiful bride.
Their guests stood up, the large wooden doors opened, and Erin and her father started their decent down the aisle. Riley’s eyes lit up while Erin’s filled with happy tears. They joined their hands up front, shared their vows and then Erin’s family sang a surprise song to bless the happy couple.
After the song, Erin and Riley were pronounced husband and wife and they made their way back down the aisle and into a private room to share a moment together. The couple and their wedding party boarded the bus to the Plymouth Creek Center. The bus dropped everyone just to the side of the event center so we could walked the trails of the Millennium Garden for photos. It was greener than we expected and some of the trees were starting to flower.
Erin and Riley greeted their guests during their grand entrance. After dinner, both fathers shared a toast, then Erin’s sister and Riley’s cousin took the mic for some words about the bride and groom. Instead of a cake, Erin and Riley had an ice cream stand for their guests to enjoy, and once everyone had filled their sweet tooth, the dance floor opened.
After the first several dances, Erin and Riley snuck out for where thee sun was dipping down behind the tall grasses. Once it set, they went back inside together to enjoy the rest of their Plymouth Creek Center wedding with their guests.
