Sarah and Ronan – 7/3/16 – Minnesota Boat Club

The Minnesota Boat Club was the perfect setting for Sarah and Ronan’s fun wedding!  They met several years ago, online, and Sarah knew he was the one when he asked her what kind of craft beer she liked.  They quickly fell in love, and were married in front of the shimmering St. Paul skyline.

The day started for the girls at Sarah’s gorgeous apartment.  They wore adorable matching robes, and drank champaign and sang along to Lady Gaga while getting ready.  Sarah has fantastic taste, and knows how to accessorize, so it made since that her bridesmaids matched in their blue dresses, but made them their own by pairing cute necklaces and bright shoes.  Sarah, of course, had the perfect J.Crew bling necklace and incredible earrings to match.  She wanted some fun of color, so her bright lips and flowers popped in front of everyone’s dresses.

Ronan was a bit nervous (which is always a good thing) so he decided he wanted to see his bride to be before the ceremony.  Their first look took place in front of the waterline in a small patch of shade, and the look on Ronan’s face as he saw her was an expression of awe.

Guests arrived shortly after, and fans were provided to keep everyone cool.  Their vows were from the heart, and tears flowed, especially when Sarah words started to shake.  Their friend officiated, and it was short n’ sweet but incredibly meaningful.

After some photos, the bride and groom joined their guests inside for my favorite grand entrance of all time.  As the song went on, their dancing got even better.  Everyone was up on their feet, clapping, cheering, and you can tell this couple is so loved, but also likes to have a lot of fun.  Dinner, drinks, and toasts followed. Sarah’s mom made Italian cookies for dessert, and the dance party was quick to start right after the cake was cut.  We ended the night together in the back of the boat house for a few twilight photos. It was one of my favorite weddings of the season because of their personalities.  Fun loving, happy humans like them make the world a better place!  Cheers to Sarah and Ronan!
