Lake Monster Brewing Engagement Session / Tracy + Gio

Tracy Gutzmann & Giotto met at a bar in Madison, Wisconsin six years ago. After a short stint in Illinois, they moved to the Twin Cities in June 2018. They are huge fans of local breweries, The Office (best TV show ever), and are dog parents to their pup, Timber. Since they are craft beer fans, I met them at one of their favorite breweries, Lake Monster Brewing, for their engagement session last spring.

Lake Monster Brewing is next to Paikka in the St. Paul area. When I arrived, Tracy and Giotto were enjoying a pint at a table. They sipped their beers and occasionally toasted on my request.

We went out front where there were lawn games, but also a food truck. Tracy and Giotto love food trucks and have booked one for their wedding, so it only seemed fitting to take a photo by the one parked out front. After they finished their beers, we headed to Minnehaha Falls to meet Tracy’s sweet mom and Timber.

Timber wore a Hawaiian shirt for their engagement session. At first, I thought he was just fancy, but Tracy and Giotto told me that this is his thunder shirt. It helps him relieve his anxiety, especially in crowds of people. I asked them where I can get one of those anti-anxiety shirts because it worked and Timber looked like a pro in their photos.

We walked with Timber down to the waterfall and river, then back up the stairs. Once Timber had enough, he joined Tracy’s mom again as we finished up with a few more photos around the falls.

Tracy and Giotto are getting married this weekend at the Neu Neu downtown in a laid-back wedding with craft beer and local food trucks. Stay tuned for more to come from this wonderful couple.
