Happy Couple: Haley and Nick

Haley and Nick met while working at Walmart. Nick thought she was out of his league, so he kept his feelings to himself. Haley, on the other hand, was tired of waiting for him to ask her out, so she made the first move and asked him to join her for a drink. They have been together ever since, and will be celebrating their wedding day this Friday! They both love the water and woods, so we took a sunset stroll for their Hidden Falls engagement session.

We started at the waterfall. The water level was low enough for them to climb down into the pool without getting wet. After some moments in the woods, we headed toward the beach for the sunset.

It was a hot day, but the wind off the river offered some relief. Haley took off her shoes and invited Nick to step in. He declined but moved closer to the water so he could grab her hand.

They were able to relax, sit back, and watch the sun go down together before we wrapped up their engagement session.

Because of the times, Haley and Nick have had to relocate their wedding day. It’s now taking place where Nick grew up. We will be doing some photos elsewhere beforehand, but they are excited to spend time on family land with those they love!
