Katlynn and Stephen – 10/25/17 – River Parkway and Guthrie Theater Engagement
Katlynn and Stephen met on a mission trip in Nicaragua in 2011. They got to know each other, became good friends, started dating, and have now been together for five years. They love to tour breweries and were engaged last March on Stephen’s 30th birthday. They drove up to the cities for their engagement shoot, and the weather was not on our side. It was a bit rainy, but we were able to get some killer photos down at the East River Parkway and at the Guthrie Theater.
The rain had just moved in and it was sprinkling when we arrived to the staircase that leads down to the river. Luckily, we had some umbrellas and took our time walking down the steep stair case to the sandy beach. The colors were still in full affect, and the grey sky made them pop a little brighter. Katlynn and Stephen were troopers and cuddled up as if it was the sunniest of days.
We piled in my car and headed to the Guthrie for a few more. It was a quiet night inside the building, and the yellow room was unoccupied. Looking down at the city, the red trees looked as if they were on fire. Katlynn and Stephen took in the city views which made for some dreamy photos.
I am so excited to work with them again this summer! They rocked out their session on this rainy day which means they can go with the flow and make the most of any moment!
