The Grand Event Center Wedding / Cassie + Travis

The Grand Event Center in Mora, Minnesota. From out first conversation, I couldn’t help but notice how sweet Cassie is.  She told me how Travis and her met, how he loves demolition, and how big his beard was when they first met.  They had been together for so long, she was so ready and excited to officially be planning her wedding day.  She wanted to keep it relaxed, but also have a lot of fun.  And that’s exactly how it ended up. The day started very relaxed at Travis’s parents house.  Cassie, her mom, and her friends had their makeup and hair done in the shed which sits across from the main house.  Travis patiently awaited for Cassie to meet him in the yard, so they could say hello before the ceremony. Their church was just down the road, and they hosted a full Catholic Mass for their guests.  Afterwards, the bridal party hopped into a car to hit up some of their favorite spots.  I had never been to Pine City before, and followed them to the Cricket Bar.  It was a hot one, so despite the nice patio and outdoor lawn games, everyone kept to the inside where they cooled down while sipping ice cold drinks.  A few more stops were made before they returned to The Grand Event Center to meet their guests. Dinner was made by Cassie’s father who can cooked about 200 people some really good chicken.  Once everyone had a plate and a cupcake, Cassie and Travis took the dance floor.  After a few slow songs, the music turned up and their guests flooded the dance floor for the rest of the night.
