Gardens of Castle Rock Wedding / Northfield Wedding Photographer

Megan and Phil were married at the Gardens of Castle Rock in August of 2019. They love walks on summer nights to their favorite spots in the city. The Gardens of Castle Rock had a similar vibe with its stunning outdoor space, lights that turn on at night, and fireplace and sitting area. They wanted their guests to be able to relax, play games, hang out, and enjoy each other. And so it was.

Before the ceremony, Megan and Phil hung out with their crew in the A/C. It was a hot August day, but that wasn’t going to stop the celebration. They brought a few towels and waters to stay fresh and made their way outside for their first look.

Phil was stunned to see Megan for the first time all in white. They gazed at each other, then hugged tightly.

They walked down the aisle together and back as husband and wife. For their grand entrance into the reception, Phil’s college alumni sang “Africa” by Toto. Megan and Phil made their way through the crowd onto the dance floor for their first dance.

After dinner, the sky turned orange and purple as the sun started to set. Before leaving them to their party, we snuck off for a few photos in the field.

Megan and Phil – Getting to know you both was so fun. You two are so cool! Can we please hang out and hit up Rise for bagels when this all ends? I hope this post brings back wonderful memories!
