Glenhaven Events Wedding Photography for Amanda + Kevin Brown

Amanda and Kevin Brown met online, thanks to Reddit being down for the day. They were both living in Mankato, Minnesota at the time and were members of a Mankato Facebook group. They started talking about how Reddit was not working, and boom, a friendship started. They starting texting each other pretty much all day, and in 2012, Kevin asked Amanda out on an official date. Their Glenhaven Events wedding gathered family and friends from all over to celebrate.

Before seeing Kevin, Amanda wanted to surprise her dad. She gave him a special #1 Dad handkerchief to use day of, and he needed it. Tears of joy came down his face when he saw his beautiful daughter for the first time.

Kevin also loved Amanda’s look and smiled ear to ear when he saw her. After their first look, their wedding party joined them to hang out before the ceremony.

Amanda’s dad walked her down the aisle. When he handed Amanda’s hand to Kevin, he gave her a firm handshake as if they were greeting very formally. This brought some warm laughter to the start of the ceremony.

Before they moved into dancing, Amanda and Kevin popped out to see the golden sunset. They took a moment together before heading inside to kick off the festivities and the dance floor.

Amanda’s uncles knew how to bust a move. After the formal dances, they made their way to the dance floor and brought the energy right up.

Their crew partied into the night, and we parted ways with the happy couple so they could enjoy the rest of their night, photo free.
