Christine and Pat’s Engagement/Family Session – 8/8/16- Minnehaha Falls
Christine and Pat met on a dating site. They had both been on there for a while and were ready to give up on using it to find a match when they came across each other. It was an instant connection, and four years later, they are getting married. For their engagement shoot, they wanted to incorporate their children, Savannah and Charlie, and we had sooo much fun at Minnehaha Falls!
Charlie and Savannah are about the same age, and were skeptical at first about our session. We got to know each other a bit, and after about ten minutes, they were down for anything. After a few classic photos, I pulled them to the side to ask them a favor. I told them when I yell, “Bangarang,” they would have to run and hug their parents, and several “Bangarangs” later, they were pros. They were a joy to work it, so energetic and excited to be at Minnehaha Falls.
We made our way down to the waterfall, which was flowing thanks to the rain the days before. After a few photos and moments to enjoy this beauty of nature, we made our way back up and ended our session in a garden.
I’m so happy for this family! Pat and Christine are so kind, and they did a great job raising their children. Come October, they will make their new family official, and I can’t wait for their wedding day!
