Wicked Wort Brewery Engagement
Caitlin and Adam met at work a few years ago. They started as friends, and had so much fun together that they took it to the next level. They are homebodies but also enjoy going to sports games or out to a brewery to have a beer and play board games. It will be warm and sunny (fingers and toes crossed) for their wedding day next July, so they wanted to utilize the winter and the glorious snow. So we started at Wicked Wort Brewery, then headed outside to a lake nearby for their engagement session.
When I arrived at Wicked Wort Brewery, Caitlin and Adam were deep into a game of Scrabble. It was down to the last couple of letters, so I photographed the end of their game. They still had beer to finish, so we bopped around the rest of the brewery for photos.
Our next stop was Crystal Lake in Robbinsdale. This place holds great significance to them both, since you can see the place where they met across the lake.
The sun was low in the sky, so Caitlin and Adam grabbed hands and took a stroll. They were smart to wear their snow boots because not all of the trail was plowed. They ended their session ankle-deep in the snow.
Caitlin and Adam were troopers, and the photos do them justice! You can tell how much fun they have with one another, especially when they threw snow in the air at the end.
Winter engagement sessions are so underrated, especially in Minnesota. The first half can be indoors. And yes, it can be cold, but anyone can last about 20 minutes outside. If you like the feel of winter, here are a few other winter engagement sessions that you can check out!
