Honu Therapeutic Massage needed brand photos to grow her online presence as her business transitions. Owner Christine moved into a bigger space where she will be offering not only massage, but BodyMind Coaching. She reached out in need of a local St. Paul brand photographer to capture her new space and services.

“Honu” means sea turtle in Hawaiian, and Christine spent many years in Hawaii learning massage and other techniques. The color palette for her brand is taken from her time in Hawaii where she was inspired by the ocean and the ecosystem within it.

Her new space is incredibly beautiful and put together with so much care. She worked with a local artist and decorator to ensure each piece represented not only her brand, but the relaxation she wants her clients to feel after their massage and healing sessions.

Our brand photography session started with photos of the space alone, then Christine transitioned into them. We took photos of her at the front where she greets clients, but also of her in the lobby and different rooms.

It was also important to photograph her services of BodyMind coaching, tarot readings, crystals, reiki, breath work, and cupping. So she invited two clients in to partake in these healings.

She started with a tarot reading in the main space, followed by breath work in one of the massage rooms. The other client came in later for massage, cupping, and a bit of reiki. Christine also offers support in the form of products like essential oils, so we photographed her making an after-care recommendation to one of her clients.

These photos invite her busy-minded clients into her serene space so they can visualize what it is like to work with Christine.

By showing herself as their grounded guide, her clients will trust her to show them how they can tune into their bodies, slow down, and find alignment.

Honu is now open again for all types of healings and therapies! The space is a peaceful oasis to relax, let go, and find your center. You can also work with Christine virtually for tarot, crystal readings, reiki, and breath work.
