NE Minneapolis Engagement Session / Anna + Tony
Anna and Tony met junior year of college at the University of Minnesota. They love playing golf and tennis together, really anything that gets them outside to enjoy the perfect Midwest summer day. They both also love architecture, which is why they chose the RSP design building in NE Minneapolis for their engagement session.
Tony works for RSP, so he had the hookup on letting us into the building. It was a cold winter day, so starting their engagement session somewhere indoors was essential.
There were multiple floors with incredible staircases, brick walls, and tall windows to use as different backdrops. They both love different textures and wanted their images to have variety.
We eventually ended up at Tony’s work desk, which made not only a great spot for a cute photo, but a place where they could throw on their jackets so we could go outside to the viewing deck.
RSP has a patio that overlooks the Minneapolis skyline. We took a moment to enjoy the views as the sun set, and snap a few pics before heading out front for a few more photos.
This area of NE Minneapolis is a hidden gem. There are many buildings around the courtyard and blocks beyond that were once old factories made of brick, but that now house creative businesses.
Anna and Tony’s love of architecture will continue this weekend at the Windows of Minnesota. This venue is high up in a skyscraper that overlooks views of downtown. Due to the times, they had to make changes to their day, like the guest list, but love will always win!
Do you love architecture? Me too. I’m a firm believer in bringing the environment into your photos because it tells more of a story. Here’s another session where the backdrop was a huge part of their story. https://angeladivinephotography.com/target-field-engagement-session-stephanie-tony/
