Hope Glen Farm Wedding – Amy + Jon
Hope Glen Farm Wedding, Fall 2021
Amy and Jon
Amy and Jon met many years ago thanks to friends. They love spending time in nature, so they chose the historic Hope Glen Farm for their fall wedding.
Hope Glen Farm has everything from a private ceremony area, covered reception hall, tree house, to baby animals. We made our way around the grounds to take photos before their guests arrived. The weather started off sunny and beautiful, but as the day went on, turned to cold, cloudy, and windy. Luckily, Amy and Jon had thought of everything and had warm cider and blankets for their guests.
Jon’s sister, Krista, conducted the ceremony under the wooden woven ceremony arch. Austin Ellis, a local musician who was also featured on The Voice, played guitar and sang as the couple exchanged rings. Their guests huddled together and then cheered when Amy and Jon shared their first official married kiss under the arch.
Everyone was excited to move into the warmth for the social hour and dinner. Austin Ellis continued to play for guests as they mingled, noshed, and enjoyed cocktails. The fireplaces were lit for ambience and function as they brought a cozy warmth to the entire space.
Once dinner and toasts were complete, their guests moved into the dancing barn where DJ Dudley D turned up the party with old school jams from Prince. Instead of a traditional dessert bar, guests ordered cherries jubilee to be made in front of them on the other side of the dancing doors. The outside bonfires also doubled as s’more stations for guests to gather and enjoy.
A very special thanks to their vendor team:
