Rochelle and Pat – 10/21/16 – Green Acres Event Center, Minnesota

Rochelle and Pat met at work.  Pat had a huge crush, but never had the courage to ask her out until one evening, his brother and a friend convinced him to give it a shot.  What great advice!  They started dating and quickly fell for each other, and I can see why.  They both are kind hearted, silly, and fun to be around.  Pat loves his John Deer hats, and Rochelle has a little country in her which made Green Acres Event Center the perfect choice for their ceremony and reception.

First off, this venue has cows everywhere!  There is a wine cellar, multiple juke boxes, and the upstairs is gorgeous!  Hard wood floors, large barn ceiling with chandeliers, splendid for an elegant country style wedding.

Rochelle dressed in the wine cellar and helped Pat’s daughter, Sierra put on her final touches as well. Pat arrived shortly after with their dog, Willow, who was not only the ring bearer, but a wedding day celebrity.  She ran around the venue later in the night getting scratches, pets, and probably a few under the table snacks from all their guests.

One of my favorite moments of their day was their first look.  Pat’s jaw literally dropped- see the photo below- at the site of Rochelle, and you can’t blame him, she looked flawless!  After their special moment, Sierra joined in a for a few photos with the wedding party and family soon to follow.

During their ceremony, Pat and Rochelle gave Sierra a very special necklace to signify that their marriage was also about joining the three of them together as a family.  Pat’s brother and best man mentioned during his speech how much it meant to their whole family to see Rochelle take so kindly to Sierra, and that the two have become like best friends.

Rochelle and Pat threw one heck of a bash!  These two sure know how to have a good time and that happy energy was contagious.  Their guests enjoyed great meals, plenty of full mason jars of their choice of beverage, and my personal favorite, S’mores outback by the fire.

Thank you Rochelle and Pat!  Beyond the two of you, your families and friends were so also so great to be around all evening, it was a seriously marvelous time!  Thank you for letting me be apart of your lives and I wish you all nothing but love and happiness!  Cheers to many happy years together!
