Glen Park Engagement Session / Jackie + Scott
Jackie and Scott met many years ago while working together at a grocery store. What started as coworkers evolved into a friendship that eventually lead down the path where they are today- happily engaged and parents to a beautiful daughter, Robin. They wanted to keep the scenery local, so I traveled to River Falls Wisconsin for their Glen Park engagement session.
Glen Park has a bit of everything- baseball diamonds, soccer fields, picnic benches, but also trails that lead you to places you wouldn’t expect. Jackie and Scott met me at the swing bridge, which true to name, moved with the breeze and footsteps. They held each other tight as people made their way to the other side, and the movement and laughter made for some great moments.
After the swing bridge, Jackie and Scott guided me down some trails that went down the side of a hill. At the bottom of the hill was a creek that we followed into the woods and towards the falls. The sounds of the water rushing down the rocks made everything feel calm and serene.
We took different trails back up the hill and the sun had started to dip behind the horizon. After a quick trip the the cars, we headed back down the trails and found a grassy field the catch the last bit of color seeping into the sky.
I’m so grateful to have crossed paths with Jackie and Scott- and it is truly meant to be. Funny enough, I was the photographer at Janelle and Justin’s wedding and Jackie was in the wedding party! So excited for their wedding next year, it’s been so fun getting to know them!
I’ve been doing a lot of spring engagement sessions at sunset- here’s Stephanie and Mike’s from a few weeks prior.
