Amanda and Zach – 7/15/16 – St. Anthony Main and North Loop, Minneapolis, Minnesota
Amanda and Zach met in high school, at homecoming, and have been dating the last seven years. These high school sweethearts took it long distance through college, but are now back together and living in Minneapolis. They are getting married in their hometown, near Milwaukee, later this year, but wanted their engagement photos to showcase some of their favorite spots in Minnesota, and end with sunset at St. Anthony Main.
We started at the North Loop and met in a parking lot. Of course, the Twins were playing and the original place we wanted to meet was blocked off due to construction, but we made it work. The brick and buildings are what they were after, and they glowed in the evening light. As we chased the light bouncing off of buildings, Amanda and Zach shared their love story and lives. They are moving in together for the first time in their relationship, which is so exciting, and perfect timing with their upcoming wedding.
For the second half of their session, we headed to St. Anthony Main. It was a Friday night, and it the streets were full of people enjoying the gorgeous weather. There was a large group we made out way through that were Pokemoning- that’s a verb now, right? and it was great to see everyone out and about on such a perfect night. We treasure these types of evenings in Minnesota, and the weather could not have been more on point for their session. The pink and purple clouds were the perfect addition to their photos, it was seriously a magical sunset meant for two incredible people.
I wish them both the best in the future and with their upcoming wedding! Wisconsin is lucky to have them both back there for what will be an epic celebration!
