Minneapolis Wedding Photography
April 11, 2018
In the world of Minneapolis wedding photography, I was always trying to blend in. I figured doing something safe would make my clients happy, and it did. However, this past year was an incredible one for me as Minneapolis wedding photographer. It was the first year that I finally pushed myself to try new things and not just deliver the average photo to my clients. I not only tried different techniques with my camera, but forced myself to approach a wedding day with more creativity. I am so pleased with the results and I would love to share my favorite weddings from 2017.

Emily and Nate’s was my final wedding of 2017. It was a brisk November day, but we ended up taking most of their photos at a location I can’t wait to go back to – the Rock Island Swing Bridge.

Caitlin and Eric chose to do a sparkler send off with their closest friends. It was my first one and it was raining, which made for some really dreamy images.
Jillian and Jake have impeccable taste. They dressed to impress and decorated their tables with mismatching china.

Katelynn and Stephen wanted a relaxing wedding day where all of their friends and family could sit by a bonfire and roast marshmallows. I loved photographing at Legacy Hill Farm, can I please go back?
I love weddings of all shapes and sizes. Katie and Ethan’s was intimate and held in Katie’s parents backyard in Stillwater, Minnesota. It’s not about how many people are there, but if the right people are there to celebrate your big day.
As a Minneapolis wedding photographer, I’m proud to have traveled to some diverse venues in 2017. Every wedding day is special, and I really want to keep showing that to my clients by capturing the natural and genuine pieces of their wedding day, but also deliver a few images that are magical and truly unique.
