Minneapolis Waterfall Engagement Session / Gina + Mike
Gina and Mike met seven years ago at Saint John’s in Latin class. They bonded over a shared love for animals and winter activities. They wanted some spring photos by a Minneapolis waterfall for their engagement session, so we made our way to Minnehaha Falls last May.
It was a busy weekend at Minnehaha Falls, but that didn’t bother Gina and Mike. They are laid back, down to earth, and were fine with navigating the crowds.
We of course found our way down to the waterfall. The mist of the falls felt amazing since it was unusually humid for early May.
The trees had started to flower, so we took advantage of each one not only near the waterfall, but across the road at Longfellow Gardens.
Their wedding day is fast approaching (hello, this weekend!). Gina and Mike wanted winter because they would rather be cold than hot any day.
Besides the snowy background, another requirement for their wedding was for it to include all their four-legged friends. Gina and Mike don’t have their own pups yet, so their families are bringing theirs to be in the photos and ceremony.
Needless to say, it’s going to be absolutely perfect and fur-friendly.
Want a Minneapolis waterfall engagement session? Minnehaha Falls is one of my favorite places as well as Hidden Falls. I also love traveling outside of the city for more options! Inquire about your waterfall engagement session for my list of spots in and outside of the Twin Cities.
