Lumber Exchange Event Center Wedding / Erin + David / 7/7/17
Erin and David met while attending school at the University of Michigan. They started talking and found out they both liked to run. David thought Erin was pretty cute, and asked her out running with him, but little did he know how much Erin liked to run! When they hit the trail, Erin was not only fast, but was down for distance. David jokes that he could barely keep up. They are two kind souls that are so easy going, it was a pleasure to be apart of their Lumber Exchange Event Center Wedding.
Their whole wedding party and family gathered at the Lumber Exchange Event Center to get ready. David and his groomsmen had a room with games and mini putt while the Erin and her bridesmaids gathered in the bridal suite to put on the final touches. The limo picked the groomsmen up first and took them to the ceremony site, St. Olaf church in downtown Minneapolis. The girls made their way there shortly after and hid away as guests arrived for the ceremony. I think everyone’s favorite moment of the ceremony was when David accidentally dropped Erin’s ring while trying to put it on her finger. Everyone, priest and Erin included, had a good chuckle once it was found and put back on her finger.
After the ceremony, the wedding party got in the limo and the first stop was the Guthrie Theater for photos. The endless bridge has one of the best views of the city and since most of their wedding party was from out of town, it made for the perfect first stop. Pictures continued a few blocks away at the Mill City Ruins until it was time to head back to the Lumber Exchange Event Center for the reception.
The wedding party went downstairs to the Exchange and joined everyone for cocktail hour before marching into the Fountain Room for dinner and drinks. Erin’s dad gave an adorable speech and shared stories about the couple along with the maid of honor and David’s brother, the best man. Dancing started shortly after and the night ended with everyone on the dance floor cheering the Michigan fight song.
Thank you so much Erin and David for having us, you both are so friendly and genuine, it was truly a wonderful time getting to know not only you two but your wedding party and families! We wish you many years of happiness and runs together!
