Tammy and Marcus – 8/20/16 – Legends Golf Club
Tammy and Marcus met through some mutual friends. They hung out and played some pool, and from what I know, Tammy schooled Marcus. They fell in love an welcomed their first child together into the world a several months before their wedding at Legends Golf Club.
This past August was one of the rainiest on records for Minnesota, and their wedding day was no exception. Luckily, we snuck in their first look as well as started the wedding party photos before the first patch of rain hit. Tammy was literally posing with the groomsmen when a big grey cloud rolled in and started to downpour. After drying off in the locker rooms, the clouds once again parted for a short time and the ceremony started. They kept it short and sweet, which was perfect for this day, because after the ceremony, their coordinator let me know another burst of rain was on it’s way.
After a few more photos, the bride and groom entered their reception and were able to kick back, relax, and enjoy the company of their guests. Tammy’s father gave a wonderful wedding toast along with the wedding party, and after cutting the cake, the bride and groom were eager to get the dancing started.
It wasn’t long after the formal dances ended that their guests were on the same page of partying. These people had moves and were not afraid to show them off for the camera. Tammy even jumped into the splits, and wedding dress or not, that is impressive! The sky finally opened up and I was able to steal the bride and groom out for a golden hour stroll. The storm had left some pools of water that reflected in the golden light, it was a stunning sunset.
I am so happy for Tammy and Marcus! They have started a wonderful life together and I’m honored to have been there to capture it!
