InterContinental St. Paul Riverfront Wedding / Nicole + Mark
St. Olaf. Nicole was about to be a senior and Mark was an incoming freshman. They started chatting and connected over their mutual love for playing hockey. After the party; Nicole, Mark and some friends made their way back to Nicole’s place. As their friends passed out in her living room, Nicole and Mark stayed up on kept talking on the couch until the early hours of the morning They kept it local for their wedding with a ceremony at St. John’s Church in little canada then the InterContinental St. Paul Riverfront for their wedding reception. Nicole and her ladies gathered in her hotel room for hair and makeup. Once everyone was ready, they rounded up their things and headed of to St. John’s Church in Little Canada to get dressed. Nicole put on her dress with the help of her sister and mom, then met Mark outside for their first look. After seeing each other for the first time, their families arrived and took their seats for the ceremony. Nicole and Mark are well loved and supported, just about every seat in the church was taken. Although traditional, their ceremony had personal touches, like one of their nieces playing the flute. When the ceremony ended, Nicole, Mark and the bridal party boarded a bus while the rest of their guests headed to the Intercontinental St. Paul Riverfront for the reception. Finally married, Nicole and Mark were able to relax, cheers a beer, and celebrate with their closest friends. The bus stopped at Raspberry Island and the parkway around St. Paul for river views. Before heading into the reception, the bridal party popped a bottle of champagne, which made for a great photo. Everyone was reunited inside after Nicole and Mark made their entrance. Toast were shared by both the father’s of the bride and groom, as well Nicole and Mark’s. When it came time to cut the cake, they cut it in half, Mark said he was hungry, but then pulled a bite for them to share with one another. The night continued on with dancing. But before my time with them was over, we snuck outside to the fountain across the road for one last epic night shot.
