Kate and Ryan – 10/15/16- Horse and Hunt Club, Minnesota

Kate and Ryan’s wedding day at the Horse and Hunt Club was magnificent!  Quick overview- peak fall colors, perfect temperature, a romantic carriage ride, and a sunset with a rainbow…. wow!  This will be a day that everyone there remembers!

These two met in Madison Wisconsin, I’m a Badger too.  They both found themselves at the end of an “Around the World Party” where the Sangria was almost out, Ryan got Kate the last glass.  The gesture started a series of dates, and now, a marriage.

The Horse and Hunt Club is an incredible venue.  It’s a bit out of the city, but well worth it for the gorgeous views, especially in the fall.  They both dressed in opposite sides of a cabin.  The girls were having fun playing dress up and the boys dressed quickly and sipped a tiny bit of whisky.  Ryan wrote Kate a love letter and gave it to her during first look.  Her eyes were glassy with tears as she read his lovely words, and after a big hug and a sweet kiss, they were ready for their beautiful day together.

Flowers adorned the ceremonial arch and guests made their way to their seats.  Kate looked incredible walking down the isle in her long vail.  Her father gave her away, and she grabbed Ryan’s hand.  They spoke their vows and put rings on each other’s fingers, and just like that, it was official.  Nothing but smiles as they walked back down the isle and straight to a horse and carriage ride.  Ryan’s best man ran up with a bottle of champaign and two glasses so the happy couple could toast as they pulled away from the ceremony.

The carriage made its way down a windy road surrounded by yellow, orange, and red leaves.  Kate and Ryan enjoyed a few moments alone, soaking up all the beauty of the moment.  The horses turned around, and headed to the reception.

From there on out, it was all about fun, and Wisconsin folks know how to do it just right!  Dinner, dancing, toasts, the night was in full swing.  I left the couple after their dollar dance, but have a feeling there was much more dancing to come.

Kate and Ryan- thank you, thank you, thank you!  You two are so friendly and fun!  I really hope we cross paths again!  Until then, best wishes, I know you two will be so happy together!
