Sam and Mike’s Engagement Session – Hidden Falls Regional Park

When the light gets like this, nothing else matters, even the tons of mosquitos that are buzzing around you. Sam and Mike were able to hold each other close and tight at Hidden Falls Regional Park during their engagement session and even manage to have fun with each other.

I love the way these two interact- both so witty, so fun loving. Mike can dish it out, but Sam is a fireball and can bring it right back. Watching them interact without even being able to hear the words revealed how meant to be these two are, and they go way back.  They actually didn’t know each other, but once they officially started dating, they had some past family connections that I’ll save for another blog post.

Mike coaches baseball and loves taking Sam to Twin’s games.  Besides baseball, they enjoy spending time with their families, a good craft brew or two, and Sam is one heck of a pumpkin carver- I’ve seen Facebook photos- she’s got talent.

I’m so grateful to our mutual friend, Dan, for connecting us because getting to know Sam and Mike has been so amazing.  I can only hope we get some of this golden light for their October wedding, fingers crossed!

Hidden falls is a hidden gem.  People sit around on lawn chairs and watch boats zoom by as well as picnic here- you should check it out.  Here’s another engagement session from this St. Paul Park.
