Jillian and Jack – 10/16/17 – Boom Island engagement, Minneapolis.
May 13th was an exciting day for Jillian. It was her birthday, she graduated from college, and even better was proposed to by her boyfriend of many years, Jack! What a great day! They love to travel, enjoy comedy, and live in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. They wanted fall colors for their engagement shoot, but also to show their love for the city, so we picked two locations; Boom Island Park and the Stone Arch Bridge.
Boom Island Park is just a walk across the Hennepin Bridge from downtown. This place is incredible, but it also tucked away, I never knew it existed until this year. It was the place to be this beautiful Sunday evening. The yellows and reds were begging to be photographed. After a lovely walk through the park, across and bridge and back, we headed to the Stone Arch.
You can see their home from the bridge and they used to walk across it quite frequently. After stopping in the center for a few, we found some yummy orange leaves in the park next door to pose with.
Their wedding day is set for next year in Stillwater, and it is going to be gorgeous! Can’t wait to spend more time with this fun loving couple!
