Becca and Mike- 10/11/14- Centennial Lakes and Pinestripes in Edina, MN
Centennial Lakes has grown since I was a kid. I grew up less than a mile away from both of Becca and Mike’s venues, and it was great to revisit these places on a lovey October day. Becca and Mike are fun people. They are mature, but down to earth. Responsible, but silly. They weren’t afraid to get in front of the camera, which made it easy to capture their beautiful memories. We strolled around the park then picked up the family and wedding party at Pinstripes. We all walked to the ceremony site where a sparkly, gemstonedarch glittered in the sunshine. It made the perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony. As the speeches ended, Becca confessed she was afraid to the do Hava Nagila. I had never photographed this traditional dance, and it looked fun from behind my lens. My feet were also on the ground. The dancing continued, with people of all ages free styling in the center of the dance circle. What a blast, thanks Becca and Mike!
