Angela and Marcus – 6/6/15 – Reidel Farm Estate
Angela and Marcus are meant for each other. They met many years ago at a bar in Minneapolis and immediately started dating. They were blessed two years ago with their second child, Ky, and decided to make their family official!
Reidel Farm Estate is an adorable venue that is meant for an intimate wedding. The charming gazebo hosted their vows, but also a knot tying ceremony to bring Angela and Marcus together. They also did a sand pour with Marceles, Owen and Ky. Their children were able to contribute by pouring their sand to symbolize them coming together as a family.
After the ceremony, the new family and their guests moved to the garden party tent for a pig roast by Divine Swine Catering. Each table had mismatching china and decorations that made every guest feel special. While their guests enjoyed libations, Angela, Marcus, and I headed into the woods next to the river to take some photos. There’s a large bike path that we followed to a small field and park before we looped back around to the tent.
Bottles of champaign were popped as everyone shared toasts. Friends as well as their families told stories of their love but also of how great of parents they had become. One of my favorite moments of this wedding was their cake cutting. Their cake looked very traditional, white with buttercream frosting, but when they cut into it, the inside was layered like a rainbow. The rainbow cake that was stunning to look at, but also extremely tasty! After dessert, everyone headed back to the gazebo for dancing. They didn’t have a formal DJ, but none was needed. Everyone got on the dance floor and got down, including the kids. It was so beautiful to share in their special day of becoming a family! Congratulations to the Jackson family!
